OrganizationsConnect with organizations that help the park.

It all started with this group in August 2013. The goal was to find ways to help the park and it while it took longer than anyone expected, the job was completed in May of 2016. That is when we started reorganizing to put a system into place that was impossible to see in 2013. Bob, Carol, and Bill (the three on the left) were there the whole time and got to see the whole process come together. Will (right) was a creative force and actually came up with the name Pilot Butte Summit Seekers, His wife Kristen (on his left) was the glue that held everything together. They got married and during their tenure and later had twin girls. Amber is the sinister (bottom) one who insisted we embrace social media. That proved to be the most important decision we made. Today social media is driving almost everything that gets done. It was all Amber's vision.

Donation exampleCore organizations. No one gets paid but these organizations are not free. Every business has expenses and nonprofits are no exception. Your donations help us function via lean budgets stretched in many ways to get the most bang for your buck. There are many ways to do that including using a board members house for meetings and mail or setting up a free google phone number so people can call us. Nonprofits are constantly learning from each other to find ways to reduce costs.
